Fantoni brother and sister, have decided to use part of
their family villa in Florence, which dates back to the end of the nineteenth
century, to give guests a high class Bed and Breakfast accommodation choice.
It's really the best place to choose for lodging, while visiting Florence
and its surroundings, enjoying an invaluable atmosphere
of tranquillity and harmony.
Giusy and Antonio offer their
guests warmth and spontaneity so that their stay at B&B Villa
La Sosta is like a “home away from home”.
The name
of this elegant bed & breakfast is
linked to the road that the gardens look onto: Via Bolognese.
It is the oldest postal road crossing the Tuscan Apennines
and today gives convenient access to Florence from the most
charming residential area around the city.
In one direction it leads to the city centre, but in the
other, this road, which starts from the ancient gate of
S. Gallo at Ponte Rosso, leads up the Pellegrino hill and
continues through the hills of Pietra and Lastra, Trespiano
and Pratolino.
Here, once past the park of the Medici villa of the same
name, it leaves Florence behind it and continues upwards
to Futa, in the direction of Bologna, through valleys, ridges
and mountains. |
